We value your privacy above all else. This Privacy Policy explains how Dooi (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles your information when you use our product. Dooi is a private, on-device AI document assistant designed to help you find, understand, and create documents — without sending your files to our servers.
By installing, accessing, or using Dooi, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall Dooi and discontinue use.
1. Guiding Principles
- Local-first by default – Your documents, search history, summaries, and drafts remain on your device unless you explicitly choose to export or share them.
- No hidden collection – We do not collect, store, or analyze your content without your explicit consent.
- Transparency – If we ever introduce optional cloud-based features, we will clearly disclose what is sent, why, and to whom.
- Security by design – We design Dooi to minimize exposure of your data to external systems.
2. Information We Collect
By default, Dooi does not collect your content. The only information we may process falls into two categories:
2.1. On-Device Content (Default Behavior)
- Your Content: Includes any documents, summaries, searches, or drafts you create or interact with in Dooi.
- Storage Location: Stored locally on your device’s storage.
- Processing: All content processing — including search, summarization, and drafting — occurs locally.
2.2. Optional Data (User-Enabled Features)
If you choose to enable certain optional features in the future, we may process limited data, such as:
- Crash Reports & Diagnostics: Device type, OS version, error logs (e.g., via a third-party error reporting service).
